The HOUSEKEEPING HOUSE ATTENDANT is responsible to maintain the cleanliness, order, and safety of public areas, fixtures, and furnishings, and provide support services to other Housekeeping staff. To provide clean linens and remove soiled linens from attendant carts.

The expected base wage range for this position is: $22.15 per hour. This position may be eligible for additional compensation according to the Company's policies, as they may be amended from time to time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, include but not limited to:

• To start and complete all requests, including guest requests, in a timely and professional manner on HotSOS mobile using iPhone.
• To satisfactorily perform routine cleaning tasks in public areas, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, glass cleaning and projects on the checklist.
• To provide Room Attendants with all necessary room and cleaning supplies.
• To remove and handle, as directed, soiled linen and trash from staging areas and Room Attendant carts.
• To perform support services in rooms as directed, including sweeping/mopping patios, carpet spotting, mattress turning, furniture moving, window washing, and detail/deep cleaning not normally performed by Room Attendants.
• To assist other Housekeeping staff, as directed, to complete their work and move furniture.
• To maintain cleanliness, order, and inventory of storage and linen closets, and promptly report any deficiencies or problems.
• To handle, label, and store all hazardous substances according to state and federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Able to understand English, and to follow simple verbal instructions. Able to read and understand chemical labels. Previous hotel experience preferred.

SKILLS AND APTITUDES: Detail oriented. Organized and efficient. Learns quickly. Safety-minded. High quality standards for production and service. Courteous and friendly manner. Good team player. Customer service focus. Able to work productively with little supervision. Trustworthy and reliable.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Stands and walks moderate to long distances throughout shift. Bends, stoops, and reaches to perform routine job tasks. Routinely required to move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over moderate distances. Often required to move objects weighing up to 250 lbs. over short distances, using appropriate hand trucks and carts. Flexibility and good reflexes required, if needed to operate electric cart. Frequent use of stairs, daily. Fast-paced work environment. Guest facing position that may handle conflict and/or encounter individuals who may be upset and emotional at times.

TRAVEL: This position is not expected to travel for work.

REMOTE WORK: This position is not eligible to work remotely. The candidate must be able to work in-person during normal business hours.
