Duties
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as per recipes.
- Help with menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Prepare ingredients for catering events, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation of dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques is essential.
