Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain core and edge routing infrastructure.
- Optimize network performance and validate routing changes to maintain availability.
- Support NOC operations during outages and escalations.
- Troubleshoot complex routing issues and ensure traffic is optimally transported.
- Perform periodic overnight maintenance for network upgrades, repairs, and changes.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation and enforce best security practices.
- Communicate with vendors and create TACs and RMA’s.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in service provider routing environments.
- Strong expertise in Juniper JUNOS and devices (MX, QFX, EX series).
- Proficiency in OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and MPLS protocols.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Adtran, Mikrotik, and Cisco.
- Familiarity with DWDM and optical technologies.
- Experience with CG-NAT implementation.
- Experience with IPv6.
- Juniper certification (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIE-SP).
- Reliability Engineering experience.
- SRE experience.
