Senior FP&A Analyst

Job Summary : The FP&A Analyst assists with the annual budgeting process, is a subject matter expert on company reportingtools, prepares financial reporting for banks and investors, and helps prepare the weekly cash flow model.Duties and Responsibilities : Primary responsibilities include budgeting, monthly reporting, and assisting with month-end close process,including preparation of various journal entries and account reviews. Other duties include :  Assist with budgeting process Assist with preparing financial results, including actual vs. budget and last year analysis Assist with developing effective financial metrics Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations Assist with preparation of company consolidations of actual and forecast results Assist with intercompany processes Prepare weekly cash forecast for bank reporting Key member of implementing company reporting software Prepare monthly financial reporting for the bank All other duties as assignedA successful candidate combines excellent analytical skills with a strong knowledge of accounting principles.The ideal candidate also has experience collaborating with commercial, operations, and other colleagues outsideof the finance department.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties orresponsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may changeat any time with or without notice.Minimum Qualifications : Education B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant. Five or more years of work experience in the manufacturing industry. FP&A and cost accounting experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of basic accounting procedures FP&A related experience Awareness of business trends Familiarity with financial accounting statements Familiar with general ledger and consolidation software  Advanced MS Excel skills Accuracy and attention to detail Position located in Tecumseh, Michigan. Travel requirement less than 10% of total time.
