Job Summary:
We are looking for hard-working, honest and friendly Receiving Managers with a desire to provide outstanding customer service to join our team. Ideal candidates must be able to handle various tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
Essential Job Functions (Receiving Manager):
- Receives and unpacks materials and supplies/boxes
- Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record keeping purposes.
- Manages shipping and receiving logs.
- Verifies and keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepares items for shipment.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, order or other records.
- Sort and distribute packages.
- Shrink wrapping
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with other managers on achieving store goals.
Requirements:
- Have basic knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and direction.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to provide proof of eligibility original documents to work in the U.S.
- Must love the beach!
