What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Field Technician position at Surf To Snow?
Surf to Snow (S2S) is looking for an Environmental Field Technician to join our construction team! This is an exciting time of growth for our company: we’ve increased our headcount by 44% in the last year and we aren’t slowing down.
This is a full-time position. In this role, you'll report to the Construction Superintendent at the S2S Construction Office in Concord. Travel will be required. Typical expected hours are Monday through Friday, 7AM to 4PM with potential for some evening, overnight, and weekend work. Lodging and travel costs will be covered by S2S.
The idea candidate will have experience with barbed wire fencing, hydroseeding, and irrigation.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Supporting construction projects.
- Assist in implementing erosion control measures.
- Support wildlife protection efforts as directed.
- Install storm drain protection systems.
- Perform site services to minimize track out and soil movement.
- Always follow safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in construction or environmental fields is a plus.
