Position Overview
We’re looking for a Cost Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to do more than just crunch numbers. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to dig into cost drivers, collaborate with operations, and make a measurable impact on performance and profitability.
You’ll take ownership of labor and material variance analysis, maintain accurate and actionable standard costs, and play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, and customer-level P&L understanding. This is a highly collaborative position that connects finance to the shop floor and helps drive quoting accuracy, operational improvements, and financial performance.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
- A sharp analytical mindset with the ability to structure, interpret, and synthesize complex data sets into clear, actionable insights
- Excel proficiency and a drive to automate reports and streamline processes
- 2 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Experience with ERP systems (MAS500 a plus)
- Clear communication and a team-first mentality
