Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. As a Busser, you will assist servers and contribute to an exceptional dining experience by maintaining cleanliness and efficiency throughout the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and glassware are removed efficiently.
- Assist in setting up tables for new guests, including arranging silverware, napkins, and condiments.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring that all areas are presentable.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs.
- Assist with food service as needed, including delivering food from the kitchen to the dining area.
- Support the overall operations of the restaurant by helping with various tasks as directed by management.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with bussing procedures and food handling practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in a busy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being proactive in addressing tasks independently.
