Surfside Casual Furniture is a 3rd generation family-owned furniture retailer. We have four stores in NJ and currently building a store down in Florida. We are looking for someone to be in charge of our customer service department.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Schedule: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Tuesday - Saturday
Duties:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with their inquiries regarding current and previous sales
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to customers, understanding their needs, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Utilize effective communication skills
- Analyze customer accounts and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions in the database
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
-Check the status of parts and/or replacement pieces for a customer with a warranty claim or a damaged piece on delivery
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
