RN PACU Position

The PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) plays a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing continuity and quality nursing care for all patients
- Continually evaluating patient conditions and implementing interventions as needed
- Assisting physicians with tasks in procedure rooms, including conscious sedation and sterile techniques
- Delivering comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
- Minimum 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
- Ability to make informed decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
