Job Summary:
Surge Adventure Parks is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance and Utility Technician to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and overall upkeep of our facility. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of equipment, play structures, trampolines, and safety features.
- Conduct minor repairs on facility fixtures, plumbing, electrical components, and other operational equipment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment throughout the park, including restrooms, play areas, and common spaces.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are followed when performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and report any shortages or necessary replacements.
- Support seasonal and special event preparations by setting up, breaking down, and assisting with technical needs.
- Collaborate with management and staff to address any facility concerns or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to OSHA and safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, custodial work, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair work.
- Ability to operate tools, machinery, and cleaning equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor tasks as required.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
