Reports To : ME Manager
Shift : 2nd shift 2 : 30pm-11pm
Wage Range : $33.00
Responsibilities :
Install, repair and maintain all equipment and facilities
Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
Try out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime
Record operational data, such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds and speeds for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records
Participate in Production system Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement : propose and implement continuous productivity, process and quality improvement actions for all facilities
Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met
Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.
Follow requirements established in Spring Hill Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.
Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.
Follow values established within Being Faurecia. Act with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as with autonomy and accountability.
Act in accordance with the behaviors as established in Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
Position Specifications
Authorities :
Authority to stop after proceeding if an unsafe condition is met.
Make changes to process parameters within the specification.
Repair or replace equipment / items as needed to support production.
Input work orders.
Knowledge / Skills :
Technical diploma / Journeyman’s card
Working knowledge of Quality system and Health, Safety and Environment skills
Strong technical problem solving skills
Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a matrix organization
Knowledgeable in NFPA 70E arc flash requirements (electricians)
Good decision maker, able to work on own initiative;
Self-motivated and task orientated;
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
Flexible approach to Business needs
Education / Experience :
At least 3 years of maintenance / engineering experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
Proven ability to undertake tasks of substantial variety or complexity which require an extensive knowledge of fabrication / processing techniques, tools, materials, machines and equipment
Electro-mechanics and automation skills
Print reading ability for core proficiency..(Electrician or Mechanic)
