Our client is looking for a Customer Care Coordinator to be responsible for booking and coordinating shipments, serving as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the process. This role involves providing timely updates, collecting and relaying shipment details, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and relevant teams. Additionally, the coordinator will address and resolve any issues that may arise during the process.
Schedule : In office; Monday-Friday; 8 AM – 5 PM.
Start date : ASAP
Compensation : $18.00 / hr.
Location : Orlando, FL 32824
Essential Functions :
- Monitor emails for new shipment requests.
- Collect and update shipment details, including pre-move surveys, weights, and preapprovals.
- Track shipments and update relevant systems with estimated arrival and delivery details.
- Act as the main point of contact for shipment coordination both internally and externally.
- Monitor and verify quality scores for accuracy.
- Process customer payments and verify payment methods.
- Ensure all customer-provided information is accurate and communicated to the appropriate team.
- Coordinate scheduling for packing, pickup, and delivery with customers and logistics teams.
- Provide proactive updates to customers regarding their shipments.
- Work with customers and claims teams to address any damages or concerns.
- Escalate unresolved issues to supervisors to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
