Responsibilities:
- Performs automotive diagnostic tests using scan tools, electronic computers and other testing equipment.
- Repair and maintenance procedures on customer vehicles such as, 32-point courtesy check to determine proper mechanical and electronic functionality.
- Utilizes Mitchell Repair, All-Data and service manuals to research technical information.
- Performs routine maintenance and necessary repairs of the engine, steering, brakes, HVAC, and electrical system.
- Maintains clean shop bays complying with company quality control program and company safety policy
Position Requirements:
- High school graduate or comparable vocational training
- Working knowledge of automotive engines, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems along with competency to use a variety of electronic tools, such as diagnostic scan tools and computer.
- Possess the ability to solve problems and think independently.
