Salary: $20 to $25 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities every other weekend and 24/7 availability outside of standard hours.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable 24/7 Roadside Technician to provide roadside assistance and tire repair services to customers. This position involves traveling to customer locations to address tire-related issues using a company-provided vehicle. The ideal candidate will have experience in tire repair and a strong mechanical aptitude, ensuring prompt, efficient service to customers in need of roadside assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide roadside assistance to customers experiencing tire-related issues, including repairs and replacements.
- Travel to customer locations using a company-provided vehicle to address emergency service calls.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain services rendered and any necessary follow-up.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance to ensure the safety and reliability of vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Be available for on-call duties, including weekends every other week, and 24/7 availability outside of standard working hours.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of company equipment.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in tire repair or a similar mechanical role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform roadside repairs.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle stressful situations in a customer-focused environment.
- Must be available for on-call shifts, including weekends and 24/7 availability outside standard working hours.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required for tire repairs.
