A Shift: M/T/W and every other Thursday; 5am-5:15pm $18/hr
B Shift M/T/W; 5pm-5:15am and Th 5pm-12:30am (with mandatory OT to 5:15am when needed) $18/hr $1.00/hr shift diff
C Shift Thur/Fri/Sat; 5am-5:15pm $18/hr $1.50/hr shift diff
The Assistant Press Operator assists the Press Operator with operating Flexographic printing equipment to create a label product which meets the customer’s specifications.
Responsibilities include:
•Assist with operating press and running print jobs.
•Set up press to run print job.
•Read, understand, and follow production work orders.
•Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates.
•Assist with producing label product which meets quality standards.
•Help with maintaining efficient operation of equipment.
•Identify raw materials and tooling.
•Accurately report production numbers daily.
•Conduct quality checks of finished product.
•Learn to troubleshoot production errors using the root cause analysis process.
•Maintain a clean and safe work area; sweeping floors and emptying trash as needed.
•Check equipment for calibration and alert supervisors and management if equipment is out of calibration.
Qualifications include:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•1 year of machining or related work experience.
•Eager to learn and be trained.
•Demonstrated mechanical aptitude required.
•Team player with professional positive demeanor.
•Self-starter.
•Detail oriented.
•Good basic math and measurement skills.
•Dependable.
