Job Description: Boiler Operator
Location: Sidney, OH – New Site in America for lithium-ion Batteries
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $26 - $31 per hour
Company Overview:
This the world’s largest producer of lithium-ion battery separator film, which plays a critical role in electric vehicle batteries, energy storage, and consumer electronics. This new site represents a significant investment, totaling approximately $1 billion, marking the company’s first and only U.S. worksite as they move into the bare-bones Phase 1 of establishing operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers on-site
- Perform regular compression and safety tests to ensure proper operation
- Conduct water sampling and treatment to maintain system efficiency
- Perform preventative maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns
- Handle minor pipe repairs and replace worn parts, including valves and filters
- Monitor and adjust boiler systems to ensure optimal performance
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Valid Boiler Operator License required
- Physical stamina and ability to work in industrial environments
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Ability to perform minor repairs and replace components as needed
- High attention to safety protocols and quality standards
