Location: Sidney, OH – New Site in America Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturer
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $83,000 - $90,000 per year
Company Overview:
The world’s largest producer of lithium-ion battery separator film, is expanding into the U.S. with a $1 billion investment in its first American worksite. This site will produce essential components for electric vehicle batteries, energy storage, and consumer electronics. Join us at the beginning of this groundbreaking project.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the education, implementation, and improvement of 9S practices, including inspection rooms, changing rooms, and work clothes
- Conduct spot checks on fire fighting equipment and product inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Monitor and control product appearance, participate in the investigation and improvement of inspection abnormalities
- Track inspection abnormalities and communicate findings to related departments promptly
- Manage purchasing, technical service matters, and the operation and acceptance of newly purchased inspection equipment
- Facilitate departmental communication, handle employee life and welfare relations, and manage administrative notices
- Oversee the QC team, fostering discipline, behavior management, team spirit, and morale
- Implement personnel evaluations and provide feedback to QC staff
- Act as the QC Supervisor's representative in their absence, ensuring on-site quality control and team management
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong experience in quality control, data analysis, and process improvement
- Ability to lead teams, manage personnel, and ensure high standards of discipline and cooperation
- Familiarity with 9S practices, inspection processes, and equipment maintenance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Leadership experience with a focus on team development and morale
