Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Phenix City, AL
Shift: 2nd Shift - 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM (Monday - Friday, Some Saturdays Required)
Compensation: $16 - $20 per hour (based on experience, open to negotiation)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading car seat manufacturing company. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment, including robotic control systems and machinery used in the production of car seats. The ideal candidate will have experience with robotic control systems and MIG welding, and will be able to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including robotic systems, machinery, and other automation tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance.
- Execute MIG welding tasks to repair or fabricate parts as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with robotic control systems and automation.
- Strong skills in MIG welding and other welding techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Knowledge of maintenance management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training is a plus.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM (some Saturdays required)
