What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Tech position at Surge?
PROCESS TECH
Under the direction of the group leader, supervisor or manager the lead technician is responsible for the processing, setup and trouble shooting of the machines in their assigned work area. They are responsible for ensuring adherence to safety, quality, housekeeping, and company policies, procedures and standards.
- Support production during current heavily loaded trial periods
- Troubleshoot alarms
- Assist with correct actions
- Document activity
- Assist with trial activity
- Organization of equipment
Skills Required
- Injections molding experience (multiple years required)
- Troubleshooting and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work independently
- Excel knowledge
- Proficient with hand tools
Training specific to placement into position:
- Actively involved or completed Paulson training program not scoring less than 70% on any of the post test scores.
Other:
- Able to operate and troubleshoot the machinery, tools and equipment
- Able to lift loads of forty (40) pounds
- Basic computer (i.e. Excel)
