What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator position at Surge?
Shift: 8am-5pm
Pay: $50-60k annually
Primary Responsibilities:
- provide estimated costs of proposed quotes
- create standardiest templates for cranes and projects
- decrease project quoting times
- work under supervision of head engineer to establish product pricing
- work with vendors to establish proper pricing
- evaluate profitability and viability
- ensures quotations are completed prior to deadlines
- prepare bid documents and coordinate required drawings
- assist in the presentation of the estimate/bid proposal
- ensure that all big forms are completed and properly executed
- attend estimating and engineering meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Emphasis in Engineering and Mechanical Concepts
- experience with Cost estimating preferred
- must be able to navigate through projects and needs
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
