What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at Surge?
Hours- 6am-2:20pm
Hourly Wage Range: $19-24 hourly
Immediate opening full-time position for an experienced Quality Inspector for a well-established family owned company on the west side of Cleveland.
We are searching for a motivated, energetic, knowledgeable Inspector who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with many responsibilities.
Must be able to read and analyze customer industrial mechanical blueprints and interpret AS 9100 D / ISO 9001:2015 Quality System Standards. Also, must be able to use visual inspecting equipment (e.g., comparator, calipers, micrometers) with knowledge and understanding of these measuring tools. Able to effectively communicate in written and verbal forms with all levels of the organization. Ability to coordinate, facilitate and understand the preparation of customer documentation as directed.
The ideal candidate would have experience inspecting springs, wire forms, assemblies and skilled at debugging spring -making set-ups. Also, will be skilled at various computer software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.) and spring force scale set-up. They would be experienced in the preparation of PPAPs, FAIRs, SPC, MSA, familiar with AS9100 and able to hit the ground running.
Skills: calipers, gages, calibration, micrometers, calibration tool expert , good mathematical skills, reading blueprints, mics & calipers.
