What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Crew Member position at Surge?
Columbia Woodlands would love to welcome a Grounds Maintenance Crew Member to our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring/maintaining all the landscape and performing a variety of duties to keep up with any maintenance issues that arises.
Responsibilities and Skills
- Monitor and maintain the health of all plants
- Mow grass, edge and fertilize Lawns
- Water and feed plants
- Install and maintain seasonal plants
- Mulch, edge, and weed gardens and flower beds
- Upkeep parking Lots, fountains, sidewalks
- Snow removal
- Maintenance experience is a plus (Fixing doors, minor plumbing issues, changing light bulbs, Etc.)
- Prune and trim trees and bushes
- Notice and deal with pest problems that could damage plants
- Extensive knowledge of regional plant life
- Knowledge of fertilizers
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift
- Ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
- 5 years experience residential and commercial landscaping experience
