Day Shift: 7am-7:30pm

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The CNA (Patient Care Tech) is responsible for the provision of direct care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Practical Nurse. Assists in the assessment and monitoring of patients’ conditions and therapeutic needs. Responsible for the provision of direct care to patients to assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including elimination, nutritional needs, mobility and emotional support. In addition, accurate completion of vital sign flow sheets, charges for supplies and other duties deemed within their scope of practice.
Education/Experience
• Completion of a Nurse Aide training program required.
• 1 years of experience as a Nurse Aide strongly preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting required.
Licensure/Certification
• Current unrestricted Nurse Aide certification from the State of Michigan required.
• Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers, from the American Heart Association required.
