Surgery Center of Gilbert (SCOG) is looking for an experienced Pre-Op/PACU Manager. We are a busy multispecialty facility, caring for patients of all ages, searching for an individual with leadership experience who can work autonomously, under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Must be able to multi-task, think critically, and make decisions under pressure.
This opportunity is a Monday-Friday, fully exempt, salaried position. No nights, weekends, or call! We offer medical insurance, vision, dental, 401K matching up to 4%, and a flexible spending account. This position also includes 4 weeks of paid time off per year, in addition to 40 hours of paid sick time. Compensation will be based on leadership experience.
Job Description:
The Pre-Op/PACU Manager oversees a team of Registered Nurses, to ensure they are performing effectively and proficiently. The main duties include overseeing day to day activities, coordinating pre-op and PACU with scheduled surgeries, organizing employees monthly and daily schedules, monitoring and evaluating employee performance, collaborating, and developing improvement plans, participating in quality improvement, assisting with onboarding and training, as well as maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Education, Experience, and Licensing
· Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
· BLS Certification
· ACLS Certification
· PALS Certification
· prior experience in pre-op and PACU departments
· BSN Preferred
· ASC experience preferred
· prior leadership experienced is a plus
