POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Assistant is held accountable in performing administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. Under the Special Projects, this position will be responsible for organizing various events, functions and recognitions for employees.
EDUCATION:
- Associates degree in Business Administration, HR, or related program, preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3-5 years of HR experience OR any similar contribution of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of office administration procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees, management and applicants
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in daily operations.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and other government compliance regulations.
- Results driven.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work.
- Attention to detail.
