Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is seeking an additional Vascular Surgeon to join our team at Kern Medical in Bakersfield, CA. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to help grow Kern Medical’s new comprehensive vascular program, providing high-quality patient care in a tertiary academic Level II trauma center with an abundant case volume. This role encompasses both clinical excellence and collaborative, long-term engagement with hospital teams and leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Attending on vascular surgery service, managing both primary and consultation patients.
- Providing inpatient vascular surgery consults, trauma, emergent, and urgent vascular surgeries.
- Participating in night and weekend endovascular and open vascular call rotations.
- Developing an elective vascular surgery practice, including outpatient clinics and scheduled OR blocks.
- Contributing to the growth of Kern Medical’s new comprehensive vascular program.
