Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Perioperative Services team as a PreOp PACU nurse. This role will involve assessing patient's preoperative and postoperative status, developing and implementing individualized perianesthesia plans of care, and communicating effectively with other healthcare team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility or health care organization policies and procedures
- Develop and implement individualized perianesthesia plans of care, including pain and comfort management and wound care
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality review and performance improvement projects to continuously improve patient care
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required
- Current state licensure to practice within good standings
