Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve practice efficiency and patient care
- Monitor and manage utilization management to optimize resources and ensure quality patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Implement and maintain electronic medical record systems
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
- Monitor financial performance of the practice and implement strategies for improvement
Skills:
- Strong background in healthcare management or medical office management
- Knowledge of utilization management principles and practices
- Certified biller and coder background preferred
- Experience supervising staff and managing teams effectively
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Epic
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Working in surgical clinic (Ortho, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, or ENT, etc.) is a must
