What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Receiver - Reading Surgery Center position at Surgical Institute of Reading (11922)?
Job Summary:
Responsible for accurately receiving, distribution and storage of materials delivered to the Materials Management Department. Accepts and signs for deliveries, unloads deliveries and/or opens packages and inspects contents for accuracy and damage, verifies content with packing slips. Ships outgoing packages and/or returns with proper documentation. Stores, restocks shelves from deliveries as needed. Rotates stock daily. Quality control of expired products. Fulfills daily stock orders for various hospital departments. Transports specimens to appropriate offsite Labs. Transports, and delivers supplies to 4 local offsite SIR facilities.
Assist hospital personnel in obtaining product information and pricing, coordinate product returns, review back orders. Provide telephone assistance as needed. Helps maintain appropriate inventory quantities and levels in the department weekly/daily in the warehouse.
Looking for someone to work Monday - Wednesday and Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM with some flexibility.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma required
Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Experience in materials management preferred
Knowledge of computer systems (Windows based programs, Excel) and data entry preferred
Require language skills adequate for high-level written and interpersonal communication in American English.
Demonstrates ability to stand for long periods, overhead and low reaching, and to exert force up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
