Position Overview:
We are now looking for a VP of Marketing, someone who will lead our global marketing activities and drive strategic initiatives. This role involves managing a diverse, multinational team and overseeing all aspects of our global marketing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern marketing practices, experience in implementing global strategies, and a background in the medical device industry or a similar field.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Marketing Strategy:
- Create and implement practical, results-focused global marketing plans that support the company’s goals.
- Oversee global marketing operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, adherence to budgets, and timely execution.
- Stay informed about the latest marketing trends, tools, and techniques, and ensure ways to use them effectively.
- Use data and analytics to track campaign success, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure strong returns on investment.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including product and sales teams, as well as key customers and industry partners.
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, manage, support, and develop the global marketing team.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment of goals and work across teams.
- Build strong cross-cultural competencies and promote professional growth within the team.
- Implement performance metrics and track the success of marketing initiatives to inform continuous improvement.
This role includes global travel, approximately a few times a year.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a strong advantage).
- 8 years of leadership experience in global marketing roles, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Expertise in managing multinational teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrated success in utilizing up-to-date marketing tools, analytics, and techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and achieve business objectives in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Preferred Competencies:
- Multilingual proficiency and/or international work experience.
- Familiarity with digital transformation in marketing and CRM platforms.
