Surgical Solutions Technicians serve as an integral member of the operating room team providing surgical support and equipment for minimally invasive surgeries. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Actively assist in daily OR operations, including duties associated with pre-operative set up, intra-operative support, and post-operative turnover. 
• Identify damaged or worn instrumentation; troubleshoot malfunctioning scopes and equipment. 
• Provide additional support in SPD, including decontamination, assembly, and unloading case carts. 
• Understand procedures being performed, while ensuring a high level of service to staff. 
• Regular, reliable, consistent job attendance; punctual and dependable. 
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to turn, bend, squat, kneel, reach, pull, standing for prolonged periods. 
• **Overnight Technician needs to be available M-F 7p-7am; Additionally, available during the day for training before taking the overnight shift

Minimum Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST certification (provisional acceptable) is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience; ability to build and maintain strong rapport with hospital team.
• Previous OR/Sterile Processing experience preferred 
• Ability to anticipate needs of others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability for 24/7 hospital coverage, including weekday, weekend, and holiday rotational scheduled and on-call shifts.
• Covid-19 vaccination required, dependent on hospital location.
