We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to join our team. The Revenue Cycle Manager will oversee all aspects of revenue cycle management, including insurance and third-party reimbursement, coding, and other administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of revenue cycle processes, maintaining relationships with payers, and implementing strategies to optimize revenue and minimize denials. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of healthcare billing practices.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for insurance and third-party reimbursement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with payer representatives and key stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in the market and update relevant stakeholders accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with Office Visit Referrals, Precertification, and Prior Authorization requirements.
- Conduct training sessions for new hires on insurance, billing processes, and NextGen functionality.
- Provide ongoing training and support to staff at various sites.
- Evaluate daily site workflows to enhance revenue cycle management.
- Manage Availity rejections and share trends to reduce rejections.
- Maintain monthly key metric A/R reports and monitor collections activities.
- Manage all coded services to ensure proper and timely coding.
- Stay updated on coding changes, legislative regulations, and payer requirements.
- Provide support to sites with billing, coding, and other administrative functions.
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrative Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of insurance and third-party reimbursement practices.
- Proficiency in NextGen preferred, or similar practice management software.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively train and mentor staff.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions to optimize revenue.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory standards.
