Hours for this position will be 10:30a - 7p, Monday through Friday
Purpose
The Case Tech provides supportive assistance to staff in the operating room.
Responsibilities
- The Case Tech will assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the surgical environment to include operating rooms, infectious waste room, scrub sinks & mats, instrumentation and patient care devices; case techs will also remove regular and infectious waste and discard in proper location prior to leaving daily at the end of each shift
- The Case Tech may assist, under the direct supervision of the RN, in patient preps and positioning.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Desirable characteristics include at least two (2) years of experience in a hospital or medical environment as a case technician.
- Ability to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards independently.
- Ability to function effectively under stressful conditions.
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Salary : $29,300 - $37,100
