Description:
Surgical Spine Associates is looking for a new member to join our amazing office team! Neurosurgical experience is preferred but not required. All applicants must have prior medical office experience. All potential candidates must also be willing to travel to our satellite locations to fill in from time to time or when requested by management.
BRIEF JOB SUMMARY: Greet patients/visitors, check-in patients, collect demographic and insurance information, verify benefits, enter all information into our EMR system, collect copays, answer phones, check out patients, process referrals, authorize MRI/CT Scans, and schedule/change patient appointments, etc.
WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday from 8:00-4:30 with a 30 min lunch break.

Requirements: SKILLS: Medical office skills, computer skills, insurance knowledge, organization and attention to detail, multi-tasking, telephone skills, and willingness to learn.
INTER-RELATIONSHIPS: Work as a team with another business office/clinical personnel, and Doctors/PA/Nurses. Present a pleasant, helpful attitude toward patients, patients’ families, other providers, vendors, and other guests.
