Surpass Behavioral Health is committed to providing high-quality ABA therapy services to children and teens with autism and their families. We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a clinician responsible for delivering speech and language therapy services.
Job Description:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating assigned caseloads for speech, language, oral motor, feeding, swallowing, voice, fluency, articulation, and/or social communication disorders. You will work closely with parents and caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plan goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver services in a client's home, community, and/or clinic setting as described in the client's plan of care
- Develop reports including evaluation/assessment reports, individual treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries
- Coordinate care with SBH's clinical ABA and PBSS staff on assessment and implementation of AAC devices, as needed, for all shared clients
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in the area of speech-language pathology or communication disorders from an accredited institution
- Speech Language Pathologist holding a Certificate in Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) in good standing with ASHA, preferred
- Current licensure or eligible for licensure for the state in which you work required
- Knowledge of HIPAA practices and the ASHA ethical code with strict adherence to these policies
