Job Summary
As a 3D Graphic Designer at Surreal Entertainment, you will work with other members of our Graphic Design team to create quality 3D product designs and eventually, you will be able to see the products you designed in stores!
We are currently looking for a 3D Graphic Designer who is able to create characters and assets using 3D modeling software (blender experience is a plus). The optimal candidate should be able to work well in a team setting, and should be able to revise their works following notes and critiques with the intention of creating a quality product.
Schedule:
We are hiring for the following schedule: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday (Some flexibility available)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions to revise existing artwork.
- Translate 2D images into quality 3D models.
- Create and edit art files in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create custom textures, logos, decals, etc.
- Using 3D modeling techniques including: hard surface modeling, sculpting, UV mapping, creating textures, rendering, lighting, and rigging.
- Creating and editing art files in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to make custom textures, logos, decals, etc.
- Compiling renders and other product information into a clean and comprehensive file using Adobe Illustrator while following our templates and formatting standards.
- Assist in design ideas for customer presentations.
- Assist with creating detailed instructions to help our vendors insure quality products.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 3D modeling knowledge. Character and asset modeling experience preferred.
- Blender knowledge preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Has experience using Adobe Suite, including: Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. (Associates degree would be considered with the appropriate amount of related design industry experience)
- A portfolio demonstrating knowledge of 3D modeling techniques and skills.
- Must be able to receive feedback and accept creative direction from senior team members.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
