Responsibilities
- Must be able to work within a team environment and be a technical lead in all aspects of survey-related software.
- Identify and recommend technology advancements, software/hardware improvements, and process and standards updates to senior management.
- Supervise and mentor survey staff, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Must be able to manage staff, budgets, and project timelines.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in land surveying.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project progress and compliance.
- Professional Land Surveyor License in Colorado.
- Professional Land Surveyor in Texas; other states a plus.
- Project Management experience in a wide range of Survey project types including CDOT, TXDOT, Energy, Renewables, Electric Transmission, Railroad, and Civil Infrastructure.
- MicroStation / Inroads Suite / Open Roads or ACAD Civil 3D survey experience.
- Trimble Business Center experience and knowledge is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- GIS experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in land surveying with a strong understanding of GIS technologies.
- Strong mathematical skills including algebra and trigonometry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
