Job Description:
Surya Carpet is seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the outbound shipment of products to customers in North America.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure efficient order processing and shipping.
- Monitor workflow between shipping and warehouse departments.
- Prepare pick lists, work orders, and shipping labels for the warehouse.
- Review and understand customer vendor compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain guidelines and procedures by customer.
- Request routing on a timely basis per customers' compliance requirements.
- Co-ordinate with warehouse to ensure all orders are complete routed and shipped on time and accurately.
- Process shipment with truckers (TL and LTL), UPS, and FedEx.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent comprehension ability to understand and execute all requirements of the Vendor Compliance documentations from various Major US Retailers.
- Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Excellent time-management skills. Able to prioritize and multi-task.
