Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Welder to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks on-site at various customer locations. Details about pay, travel pay, per diem, etc. will be discussed throughout the interview process. The positon will travel no more than 60 days out of the year. The other days you will be in a fabrication shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on-site at customer locations, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to execute projects accurately.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of welding work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members and customers to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues.
- Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients.
