We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. If you have a passion for metalwork and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality welding tasks while adhering to industry standards. Your expertise in various welding techniques will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and durability of our products.
The hours will be 5am-1:30pm. Overtime is offered. In this role you must be proficient in flux-core welding in all positions. Pay will be based on a weld and fit test. Responsibilities- Perform MIG and Flux-Cored Arc welding on various materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance welding skills and knowledge.
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10) is required.
- Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in MIG and Flux-Cored Arc welding.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks safely and effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional welding certifications are a plus.
You should be proficient in:
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
- Blueprint Reading
