Susan's Legacy is a non-profit organization founded in memory of Susan Rose, a woman who battled co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The organization provides counseling, recovery support, and case management services exclusively for women facing similar challenges. Susan's Legacy aims to help women transition from surviving to thriving by offering gender-specific, trauma-informed care with an integrated service approach.
Role Description
This is a part-time (10 hours per week) role for an Independently Licensed Therapist at Susan's Legacy. The therapist will be responsible for providing evidence-based therapy to women with co-occurring disorders. If possible, Susan's Legacy would prefer a therapist who is also a licensed Clinical Supervisor. However, this is not required.
Qualifications
- Must be an independently licensed therapist in New Mexico
- Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and integrated service approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with women in similar circumstances is a plus
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
Salary : $45 - $50
