Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar platforms.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently while ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Sanitate work areas, utensils, and equipment according to health standards.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns regarding food quality or preparation.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences.
- Maintain an organized workspace in the kitchen area while adhering to food handling safety practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash register operations.
