Located in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, our concept is to serve Japanese cuisine with a hint of creativity. As "Ai" means "love" in English, our chefs in Sushi Ai put dedication and love in every dish and are proud of their craft.
We are looking for passionate and disciplined chefs/assistant chefs willing to join our team to learn and grow with numerous opportunities.
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Job Type: Part-Time
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast past environment
- Availability to work during business hours, including weekends and evenings
- Clean workspace during and after shift
- Understanding of food safety procedures.
- Ability to work well with others as a team
- Basic understanding of fish types and how to prepare for sushi and sashimi
- Basic knowledge of using different types of knives and kitchen utilities.

Your Responsibilities
- Produce Sushi Ai products strictly to our guidelines at an acceptable pace.
- Professionally provide warm hospitality to guests.
- Maintain a freshly stocked, clean, and organized sushi bar
