Sushi Suite Westhampton is seeking a dynamic, personable Maitre d' to join our team for the upcoming season. This is a unique, hybrid role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves connecting with people, and brings a sharp eye for hospitality.
This position combines on-site hosting duties with local business development and brand ambassadorship.
Compensation & Commitment:
- $1,500/week minimum guarantee
- 4 days/week as Maitre d’ during dinner service
- 20 hours/week dedicated to local business development
- 5% profit share for the season
Breakdown of Responsibilities & Pay:
Daytime | $16.50/hr commission per reservation
- Promote Sushi by Bou throughout the Westhampton/WHB market
- Book reservations and drive engagement across platforms
- Build relationships with local businesses and event partners
Evening | $16.50/hr commission per reservation
- Represent Sushi by Bou at sponsored events and community gatherings
- Actively connect with guests and locals to build brand awareness and drive traffic
Service Hours | $11/hr tips
- Act as Maitre d'/Host during dinner service
- Greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and ensure a seamless, hightouch frontofhouse experience
- Support the team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional hospitality
