General Purpose:
As a Bartender, your role is to provide skilled bartending practices, creating exceptional drink experiences for our valued guests. You will contribute to a positive and collaborative culture, embodying our core values and cultural statements. Your dedication to cleanliness, adherence to safety guidelines, and ability to deliver timely and accurate drink menu orders will enhance our guests' overall dining experience.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain and support a positive, collaborative culture within the organization, fully embracing the cultural and values statements espoused by Hiro & CO.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and co-workers.
- Arrive daily per published and posted schedule, ready to work with a great attitude and in proper uniform.
- Coordinate with servers and staff to deliver timely and accurate drink menu orders, providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure top-quality cleanliness in all bar/well operations, maintaining a hygienic and inviting bar environment.
- Ensure that all bar/well facilities and equipment are clean, operational, and properly maintained. Communicate any repair issues to the Manager/Supervisor promptly.
- Assure safe drink handling and preparation, following established safety guidelines and best practices.
- Complete all daily checklists, including opening and closing responsibilities.
- Assure that all bar/well inventory logs are accurately maintained, managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of the restaurant, following guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook and posted policies.
- Attend all scheduled shift service lineups and meetings, actively participating in team discussions and updates.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with bar inventory management
- Experience in fine dining restaurant or closely related field
- Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wine, Japanese spirits, and intermediate sake knowledge is a plus.
Certificates or Licenses:
- T.I.P.S. Certification
