Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers following established recipes and guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for guests at the bar.
- Participate in promotional events and catering functions as needed, showcasing your knowledge of brewing techniques and specialty drinks.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred, particularly in a bartending or cocktail server role.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages and promote special offers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during busy periods.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is a plus.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and catering services is advantageous.
- Experience working in nightclubs or high-volume bars is beneficial but not mandatory.
