Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them at their tables
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems
- Assist with takeout orders and ensure accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous experience in guest relations, hospitality, or food service is preferred
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant/hotel POS systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to assist wherever needed to support the overall guest experience
