Position Overview: As a Server at Sushi Kingdom, you are the face of our restaurant and play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. You will guide our guests through the menu, answer their questions with knowledge and enthusiasm, and recommend dishes that will delight their palates. This role requires a passion for food and service, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet guests upon their arrival and lead them to their tables.
- Provide detailed information about the menu, including daily specials, answering any questions guests may have.
- Take orders accurately and communicate with the kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the guests' specifications.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items are correctly prepared and presented.
- Check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction with their meals and service, addressing any concerns with promptness and courtesy.
- Process payments, ensuring that transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting fellow staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is highly preferred.
- A genuine passion for food and providing outstanding customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables at a time.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
