Food Runner/Busser

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all orders are presented correctly and meet quality standards before serving.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service operations.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding their orders and any special requests.
• Support food preparation as needed, including assisting cooks during busy periods.
• Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.
• Help set up for banquets or special events as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong understanding of hospitality principles and guest services.
• Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.03 - $16.14 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
